Weather woes?

Not quite – unless it decides to rain a lot! Rwanda is a country that has relatively mild weather the entire year, with temperatures usually staying in the 50-90 degrees Farenheit range. During our visit in early March, the country is beginning its wet season” – so our participants need to be prepared for wet weather. However, with temperatures likely in the 70s and 80s for most of the trip, it will definitely be a nice change from the Iowa weather that sometimes plagues our area…such as this weekend.

Tanzania will probably be slightly warmer, as we will be visiting near the end of their warmest months. Luckily, we will also be visiting before many of the herds leave to Kenya and other nearby regions – so the image while driving on our game drives near the Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire national park will look similar to this at dusk.
