Rwandan President Sharing Words at William Penn University
William Penn University is having the rare privilege of having a sitting President of a country as its commencement speaker this Saturday. President Paul Kagame has served as the President of Rwanda since 2000. His Excellency will be meeting with three Rwandan students at William Penn University, who are graduating this spring, and campus and community members that have helped William Penn University create its various partnerships with the country of Rwanda. President Kagame will be arriving in the area sometime on Friday and will be spending the entire weekend in central Iowa, surrounding his time involved with Saturday’s afternoon commencement program.
