Skipping lunch to help someone else

Every now and then groups in the United States begin projects such as “skip your daily Starbucks coffee for a week and donate that money to someone in need instead.”

The Inter-Press Service recently did an article along the same lines – where instead of determining where to have lunch out, you should consider donating money to help people in Africa get a cell phone.
