Registration for international National Model United Nations conferences opens at midnight!
Chances are you have heard about the National Model United Nations conferences before. Whether it be from a previous post in this blog (https://williampennuniversitystudyabroad.wordpress.com/2012/04/03/a-global-perspective-the-national-model-united-nations-conference-in-new-york-city/), your school’s involvement, or from a film – knowledge about the NMUN conferences in New York City has become more widespread. (When William Penn University participated in the conference for the first time in April of this year, there were over 5,000 student participants in New York City.)
What many people might not be as aware are the international locations that the National Model United Nations conferences also holds. With registration opening up tonight at midnight, perhaps you – or your school – should consider the possibility of participating in the Xi’an, China conference occurring November 18-24, 2012, or at the Galapagos Islands location January 11-20, 2013.
For more information about either conference, a New York City or Washington, D.C. conference, or about the National Model United Nations in general, I encourage you to check out: http://www.nmun.org/
