Sure, it can be exciting to have guys (or girls) chase after you while abroad – hoping that you will become their special someone. Personally, I found it more annoying than anything else.
International and intercultural relationships occur often in movies and in books but in real life, managing an intercontinental relationship is anything but ideal. (Imagine the furthest distance dating you’ve done – with all of its trials and tribulations – multiplied by another thousand or so miles.)
