Coca-Cola around the world
1.8 billion. That is the number of Coca-Cola products that are consumed each day. These numbers come from a variety of drinking options – such as Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Minute Maid juice, and Dasani water. However, some products are only available in certain parts of the world (such as the tea drink on the far right of the top row in the photo).
Coca-Cola has become one of the most famous American products in the world. With the birth of the original Coca-Cola being celebrated May 8th, 1886, the world of Coca-Cola truly has taken over – well, the world!
With trade embargoes regarding the product being sent to Burma recently lifted, there are only two countries in the entire world that do not receive any Coca-Cola products officially: North Korea and Cuba.
