William Penn University reflects on the Rwandan genocide
Each year, for one week starting on April 7th, the country of Rwanda shuts down to honor the lives lost during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. During the genocide, more than one millions lives were lost within 100 days.
Join William Penn University this Monday, April 8th, at 7:00 PM in the Chief Mahaska Room as we also reflect and remember the challenges Rwanda faced because of the genocide.
For more information, check out the attached flyer.
Thank you for sharing this. You might be interested in a blog I posted today that talks about hopeful work being done with orphans and widows in Rwanda. Thank you for honoring them.
